I enjoyed this activity because this shows what NZ athletes facts.
I made a whare tapa wha.
First I made a drawing about myself and what I do. There are 4 pillars Taha Tinana, Taha Wairua, Taha Hinengaro, Taha Whanau. I put 3 words in each box.
Next I made slides including Olympic sports. I chose 3x3 basketball.
Finally I wrote down all the things that olympics athletes would do.

My partner, Mahdi, worked on an olympic task.
First We compared this or that which means what does the olympics have and what PBS has. We compared 4 this or that which are motto creed/Whakatauki, olympic flag and PBS logo and values. For the motto the olympic motto is Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together and the PBS motto is Strive To Achieve.
Next we completed similarities and differences. We completed 4 similarities and differences. The olympic creed has some common things with PBS which are both meant to motivate people into learning new things.
Finally I made my own logo. It represents my family.
I enjoyed this activity because we got to learn ancient sports and modern sports.
My group, Plastic People made our final product and is ready te be sold in our market.
First we drew our design and our design was the plastic army men and our background was world war 1. For example we drew some tanks and some army cars. We chose small pom poms because the big pom poms where to heavy to vibrate out of the cup.
Next we chose the pieces to the party popper that was on our sheet.
Last we popped our party popper to see if it was good or not.
I thought this activity was fun because we got to make our very own product that will be sold on our market.
My company, Plastic People made a party popper prototype.
First we modeled the parts so we could see which parts were the best. For example we chose the medium rubber band because it did better performance when we modeled the short rubber band. The design we chose was a pokemon because it fit with our market which is gamers.
Next we wrote down the parts that we needed so we could make our party popper.
Lastly, we made a prototype of our party popper and tested it. Our prototype did not do well because our hole was too big and our confetti was too big.
I thought this activity was fun because we got to make our very own product that will be sold on our market.

Then we wrote about a updated design. for our updated design we chose:
paper cup. We changed it into a paper cup because the plastic cup never vibrated for the confedi to explode.
Pokemon design. We used a pokemon design because it fit with our market which is gamers.
Rubber band. We left the rubber band because it did a good job on launching the confedi.
Yellow and orange confedi. We chose yellow and orange confedi because it matched our design.
Tooth pick. We left the tooth pick because held the ribber band good.
Then we wrote about down about the reason why we change the design.

Did you know that the pulley, wheel and axel and screw they all move objects. A screw works by turning around, a wheel and axle is worked by an axle, a pulley is worked by pulling on a rope and a wheel and by working together the heavy object will lift.
The three simple machines are lever, inclined plane, and wedge. These simple machines are all similar as they use a flat surface to move objects.
I learnt the diffrences and similarities between the maori haka and the Aboriginal War dance
I first put in the similarities in the DLO. One of the simularites I wrote down was that they are both trying to scare their opponents, they both slap their body and they both are loud.
After that I wrote down my differences. One of my differences I wrote down was that the Maori people take the haka into challenging another tribe.
