Raukra

 Raukra

Plan:

  • Visitors

  • Questions

  • Simon says

When the Raukura group came in the hall it was so loud the whole hall shoke.

Then sang a song. And it was LOUD then they showed us how to attack using the weapons. Of course we could hold them or else we will smack or hurt people.

Then we asked questions like how long did it take to make the performance perfect?

Then we went on the field to play. Simon says there were different kinds of levels. It went up to level 8 and me and Matheus were tied up. Sadly we both lost.

At the end there was a caller thing that you blew into the little whole and then it would make noise. When we all heard that sound. It was time to stop playing games and head back to class. We went to LS2.

Art Coloring Book

 LI: To experiment with colors.

This morning we tried one of the year's kick start Summer Learning Journey activities. The purpose of this task was to experiment with colors by mixing colors from the original palette with pop colors. This allowed us to recolour famous paintings or images of landmarks around the world. I found interesting that they both look the same

Look Down!

Look Down

Problem - Cody falls off the plane.
Problem gets worse -  Tim falls off.
Solution - they use their hoodies to fly up to the plane wing.

Then he told Cody to put his hoodie up then. So Cody put his hoodie up and he went up but when Tim saw the ground he put his hoodie up as quickly as he could.
Then when they came to the door they broke the door open so they could get inside to see their mum.
People were scared that they would die but with the help of his brother he made it out alive.

Cody and Tim were on a wing of a plane when Cody fell off. Tim tried to find a solution to get Cody backWhen Tim looked down and his brother was still falling, the engine pushed him off with wind then he fainted for 1 minute. Then he was still falling.

Guy Fawkes

This week we learnt about the origin and story of Guy Fawkes. Guy Fawkes is a day where we get to send rockets off into the sky, but the origin isn't all happy. Guy Fawkes was originally a person who wanted to kill the king by using barrels of gunpowder. He was found guilty of treason and sentenced to execution. We worked in groups to learn about the origin of Guy Fawkes.
