I created a bridge with shapes around me.
First I put 8 books down as a triangle shape.
Next I put 3 book on top of the books.
Lastly I put 1 book on top to see if the bridge could hold.
I enjoyed this activity because I like seeing if things can holds diffrent objects. Also I could not screen shot because it did not work.

I did not enjoy this activity because our plants had fungus and mold in them. They may have had bacteria introduced by our hands trying to measure the plants or bacteria in water bottles that we used to water our plants.

First I created an eye looking line art it was challenging the first time I kept on trying. I had to write down some numbers and connet the numbers with lines

I collected information about who was the best nerf gun shooter.
First we ruled all the lines of where we were shooting and they were 1m, 3m, and 5m.
I thought from 1m I was the best because I used another shooting method. That method was kneeling. This method was easy because if I lined up my gun with the table I would hit every target.

Next we solved the answer for counting back. We subtracted 10 from 32 which is 22 then we counted back from 22 until we got the answer.
Then we solved the anwser to splitting. We wrote 32-10=22 then we wrote 22-3=19.
Finally we solved the answer to rounding and compensating. We wrote 30-13=17 then 17+2=19 then 32-13=19.

I completed a speed demon challenge. I did subtraction up to 10. I got 100/100 and my time was 3 minutes and 16 seconds.

Karearea's are New Zealand Falcon's Karearea habitat is trees, grass and forests
When the Karearea fly's too high they will faint and fall to the ground and will not be able to fly for a week
If they find a rat in the forest they will try to get the rat if they get the rat other Karearea might fight for it when they are flying.

Next I did spelling quiz I had to write what the word was before it dissapered.

Today I did a Thursday workout.
First I did star jumps. I had to put my hands and my together adn when I jumped I seperated my hands when I hit the ground.
Next I did high knees. I had to lift my legs as high as I can.
After I did sqauts. I had to seperate my legs and lower my body I also had to get as low as I can.
(I don't know what name of this exercise is) I had to lay down and lift my body up adn back down reaptedly.
Lastly I did squat turns. I had to do a squat and then turn my body quarter way around.
I enjoy this activity because this will keep me fit during lockdown.

First I answered a question which was 6x2=12 for example 2,4,6,8,10,12 I recomend this stratergy because it is below 10 so you could count on your finger.
Next I answered a question which was 15x3=45 for example 10x3 = 30 5x3 = 15 which is 45 I recomend using this stratergy because if your using reapeted addition it will take time to count all those numbers.
Lastly I answered a question which was 203x5 = 1015 I recomend place value because once your number is over than 100 you have to move it to the left and that is quicker.
I enjoyed this activity because this will help me answer math questions faster.
I completed the speed demon challenge on addition. I did up to 20. I got 100/100 my time was four minutes and three seconds. I think I need go up to 100 so I can do my multiplication and division.

First I wrote down 5 reasons to back up my argument. I chose the topic recyclable essentials. My argument was why haven't we made recyclable essentials yet and the audience is Mr Ogilvie and LS1. ,
Next I wrote down the first reason it was. I think we should recycle more essentials because recycling can power a 6 watt light bulb for 2 hours
Lastly, I wrote my 2 reasons, which was that about 86% of people recycle plastic essentials everyday.

First we learnt how to do a side stroke. To do a side stroke I have to put my left hand in front of me with a board on my hand and kick with my legs. We also learnt how to side stroke without a board.
Next I swam with my head under water for 6 seconds and flipped my body so I could breathe.
Finally we did a dolphin dive but we had to touch the bottom of the floor and then we had to swim to the other platform.

First we connected some unilink cubes to show how many groups there were. For example I had 6 $5 notes . How much do I have? The question is asking what is 6x5. I chose 6x5 not 5x6 because the 6 represents how many groups there are and the 5 represents how many objects there are in that group.
Second we took photos of the uni link cubes to show the groups we made.

First we did front sculling first, back and forward. To do a front scull I moved my hands side to side in front of me and also kick your feet.
Next we did back sculling. To do back sculling you have to lift your legs in front of yourself and push with your hands.
Finally we did back sculling and front sculling with a kick board to help us float.
I enjoyed this session because this will teach people if we are in danger in the water.

First We answered a question . The question was about how many blog posts our group has in total. The answer is 283 blog posts altogether.
Next we made a bar chart and a pie chart.
Finally We wrote three statements which are our answers.
I enjoyed this activity because I wanted to see how much my blog post would have with other people.
My partner, Mahdi, worked on an olympic task.
First We compared this or that which means what does the olympics have and what PBS has. We compared 4 this or that which are motto creed/Whakatauki, olympic flag and PBS logo and values. For the motto the olympic motto is Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together and the PBS motto is Strive To Achieve.
Next we completed similarities and differences. We completed 4 similarities and differences. The olympic creed has some common things with PBS which are both meant to motivate people into learning new things.
Finally I made my own logo. It represents my family.
I enjoyed this activity because we got to learn ancient sports and modern sports.

First We answered the first question which was 21 + 7. We used the strategy algorithm. The answer was 28.
Next We answered the second question which was 34 + 17. We used the strategy place value. The answer was 51.
Finally We answered the third question in addition. The question was 238 + 192. We used the strategy place value and algorithm.
I enjoyed this activity because this will help me with my maths.
I Learned water safety.
In the beginning, I learnt how to get in the pool safely by putting your beside you and turning clockwise or anticlockwise halfway around your body. We finish by diving underwater to touch the ground of the pool. Sculling is for protecting your head.
Next I learnt the back scull. For the back scull you have to lift your feet flat on the water and push your hands out so you can go faster.
Finally I learnt how to do a front scull. To learn how to do the front scull you have to lift your legs behind you and move your hands in and out.
I enjoyed learning about water safety because it will help me when I am swimming.
My group, Mathematic Solvers we solved six questions 3 about addition 3 about subtraction.
First we solved the first question . The answer was 14 we used counting on and splitting strategy. We counted from 8 and ended at 14. split 6 into 4 and 2. the question was 6 + 8 = 14 we were on the second question.
Next we solved the second question we used counting on and splitting.
To finish up we solved the last question. We counted backward and we used split .
I learned a lot about addition and subtraction and number bonds.
LS1 and I watched a play about school lockdown.
In the beginning, they talked about which character they were going to be. They sang some songs and we sang along with them. They also talked about the rules so people can see, hear.
Next we watch the part when Scruffy pulls out Duffy's aunty prize winning flowers.
To finish up we asked some questions.
I enjoyed watching the play because if there's a lockdown you can still learn new things.
My group, Plastic People made our final product and is ready te be sold in our market.
First we drew our design and our design was the plastic army men and our background was world war 1. For example we drew some tanks and some army cars. We chose small pom poms because the big pom poms where to heavy to vibrate out of the cup.
Next we chose the pieces to the party popper that was on our sheet.
Last we popped our party popper to see if it was good or not.
I thought this activity was fun because we got to make our very own product that will be sold on our market.
